“Ascent” is some of my most powerful work ever… while I wrote it over a year and a half ago; the message has sadly become more and more important as time has passed. After Oct the 7th I felt it was something the world needed to hear. This is a song of Jewish empowerment, about our eternal flame, and the strength, resilience, and the ongoing struggle of our people against the cycles of anti-semitism.
