Anyone ever made venison jerky before? I used the scrap pieces that were fatty or otherwise weird for human consumption to make jerky treats for the cats and dogs. I baked them first til they were cooked thoroughly. Then dehydrated them. They are at a point where they seem about fully dehydrated but are very greasy, which I know will affect the longevity of this product. I have them sandwiched between layers of paper towels currently and plan to absorb as much grease as possible then run them th
