The second rescue for today was more positive than the first two We went to the 3rd sighting and just as the sun set the wombat was found. He was lying in the tall grass resting but we managed to get a good dose on him What made my heart sing is how this community (in Jerrabomberra) came together and all care so much and just want him to heal He gave a few growls just to let us know he’s not impressed and he is sporting the usual blue mark on his back but Im confident we got him in time Thank yo

Another wombat treated for mange early this morning. We suspect it’s Stu, a wombat treated once last year before he disappeared. One dose Bravecto is not enough so it’s starting from scratch again and hopefully we can give him two follow up doses. Lucky for him he has most of the fur on his back but his front legs and torso is covered in thick plaques If you want to support us in helping them please do.
