Time sure has flown by since Elisha Otis sold his first elevator in 1853 and demonstrated his safety brake invention at the 1854 World’s Fair at the Crystal Palace in New York. Today, we’re embracing our safety legacy and we’re continuing to build the future as the leader in the world’s elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
