You can edge any time to spruce up the borders of your beds. It really makes it pop. Now is a great time to think about adding or editing an existing bed. You can plant late into the fall so you have plenty of time (I always say until the ground is frozen!) To create the shape you want, lay out a hose, rope, rocks or something else to mark the space and try to make it pleasing to the eye, without too many curves, which can be too much visually and is also hard to mow.I use a shovel to do this—an
