Developed and built by Sinopec, the 270,000-cubic-meter LNG storage tank, the largest in China with a diameter of 100.6 meters and a height of 55 meters, has been completed and is set to be operational by the end of the year. Once operational, the annual receiving and offloading capacity of Sinopec Qingdao LNG terminal will reach 11 million tonnes, and the annual natural gas supply capacity of the terminal will go up to 16.5 billion cubic meters, which can meet the gas demand of 9,000 households
