Applying too much action to your lure can be a real turn off to the surrounding bass population. Instead of making the lure dance like a teenager at a sock-hop by jerking the fishing rod tip repeatedly, try holding the rod steady at a 10 o’ clock position and use the reel handle to gently direct the lure.
