Empty Duval Street. Friday the 13th. Rain-slicked pavement. Sleeping neon signs. Sloppy Joe's with the shutters closed. No tourists. No hustlers. Just roosters and coffee steam. This isn't the Key West they sell you in brochures. This is the real one. The lucky few see it like this. Before it puts its makeup on. Before it becomes what everyone expects. Worth setting an alarm for. #FridayThe13th #KeyWestMornings #EmptyDuval | Florida Keys Resorts

Sloppy Joe's before the chaos. Before the crowds. Before the noise. Before Duval Street wakes up. Just you... the sunrise... and a historic bar that's seen it all. This is the Key West nobody posts about. And honestly? It's the best version. 🌅🍺 Sloppy Joe's Bar #SloppyJoes #KeyWest #DuvalStreet #SunriseVibes #QuietMoments #KeyWestMornings | Florida Keys Resorts

Duval Street before the chaos. Empty street. Just me and the roosters. Sloppy Joe's neon still glowing from last night. (Or maybe it never turned off. Hard to tell.) Just the sound of one rooster... who apparently has A LOT to say this morning. This is the version of Duval most people never see. Before the bars fill up. Before the heat sets in. Before the island puts on its show for everyone else. Right now? It belongs to the early risers... and the birds who never left. Everyone chases sunsets

After the rain... Duval Street becomes something almost sacred. Empty sidewalks. Wet reflections. Sloppy Joe's standing watch. This is the Key West most tourists never see. This is Duval Street before the party wakes up. Empty sidewalks. Neon lights still glowing from the night before. A rooster crowing somewhere in the distance. Sloppy Joe's sits quiet. Waiting. In a few hours, this street will be packed. Music pouring out of every bar. People dancing in flip-flops with drinks in hand. But right now? It's just you and the ghosts of last night's stories. This week's rains hitting Duval Street. Music still playing... Folks still partying at Sloppy Joe's... Because in Key West, a little rain never stops the fun. This is what I love about this island. This guy doesn't care that it's 5:47 AM. Or that you were at Sloppy Joe's until 2. He's got important rooster business. Like running Duval Street. (Which he basically does.) Welcome to Key West... Where the roosters set the schedule. And you just deal with it. #TuesdayMorning #KeyWest #RoosterLife #ConchRepublic #DuvalStreet #KeysLife #fblifestyle | Florida Keys Resorts
