I love Louisiana shrimp stew because it’s filling and fairly quick to make...and no it’s NOT gumbo. 😂 Prep all of the ingredients-diced potatoes, sliced smoke sausage and the trinity(onions, bell pepper and celery). Next, make a roux, stop it with the trinity and stir in shrimp stock or water. Once that simmers, add in the potatoes, cook until softened and add shrimp. Save this for a quick but filling meal for the family. Comment below for the full recipe. Have you ever had shrimp stew? #louisi

Cajun Shrimp Stew This rich and hearty Cajun shrimp stew brings together tender shrimp, soft potatoes, and a deep brown gravy made with a classic trinity roux. It’s cozy, authentic Louisiana comfort food that tastes like home and feeds the whole family with ease. Ingredients: For the Seasoned Shrimp: 2 pounds raw shrimp, peeled and deveined (31/40-count) 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes 1 tablespoon garlic powder 2 teaspoons paprika Salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to taste For the Cajun
