India’s only active volcano located in Barren Island in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands erupted twice last week, spewing lava. Visuals filmed by an Indian naval warship show an eruption that occurred on 20 September. The volcano had also erupted on 13 September. Officials say that both of last week's eruptions were minor and no injuries were reported. The volcano has had a series of such eruptions since 1991.
