RALEIGH, N.C. – Sam Reinhart has exited Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final with a lower-body injury and will not return following a hit from Hurricanes forward Sebastian Aho. Following the game, head coach Paul Maurice had no immediate update.

Everything was going the Florida Panthers' way early in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final, but that start was dampened by an injury to star forward Sam Reinhart. In the first period, Reinhart got clipped by Carolina Hurricanes captain Sebastian Aho and will not return.

Reinhart’s 43 goals this season, including playoffs, leads the team. He has 185 goals, again including playoffs, since joining the team.
