San Diego lifeguards and rescue crews were rescuing a swimmer in distress in the Pacific Ocean near Torrey Pines State Beach on Saturday evening.

A wrong-way driver caused a traffic collision on I-15 south in San Diego Saturday afternoon, resulting in several lanes being closed and at least one person being taken to the hospital.
