Carlos Alcaraz came through a ferocious fourth-round firefight against a red-hot Andrey Rublev to win 6-7(5) 6-3 6-4 6-4 on Centre Court and keep his bid for a third successive Wimbledon title on track on Sunday.

British No 3 Norrie beat Nicolas Jarry in a five-set marathon on Sunday to progress to the last eight for the second time. The 29-year-old reached the semi-final in 2022, which was the last time Spanish superstar Alcaraz lost a match in SW19.

Rublev started aggressively as Alcaraz tried to find a rhythm, but couldn't keep that approach going while the defending Wimbledon champ righted himself.
