Mario Kart World is the latest pop culture entity to come under fire by PETA, the prominent animal rights group.

As you might imagine, PETA (the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals one, not Peta Wilson) aren’t exactly over the moon about Nintendo transforming milking a cow into a Switch minigame.

The statement from PETA follows the news from Sunday night that longtime Nintendo president Iwata passed away from a rare form of cancer (what is known as a bile duct growth). Iwata was 55 years old.
