The FTC announced it will send refunds to some Fashion Nova customers after it says the retailer engaged in “deceptive review practices.”

The FTC is issuing nearly $2.4 million in refunds to customers who bought products from Fashion Nova before November 21, 2019, saying the company hid negative reviews.

Some Fashion Nova customers are set to receive payment over allegations that the retailer hid negative reviews on its website, according to the FTC.

In March 2022, Fashion Nova agreed to pay $4.2 million to settle accusations that it tried hiding negative customer reviews, blocking those with “ratings lower than four stars out of five,” the FTC said.
