An old video has resurfaced of Christian Wilkins kissing former teammate Mike Gesicki after a 2023 Sunday night game.
Christian Wilkins, a 29-year-old who has played for the NFL since 2019, was released by the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday after kissing a fellow player on the head, as reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter. The teammate in question was offended by the kiss and filed a complaint with the Raiders' human resources department.
The Raiders voided the remaining $35.2 million guaranteed on Wilkins's contract, abruptly releasing him one year into his four-year deal that he signed with the team last offseason. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported at the time that the Raiders chose to part ways with Wilkins due to how he handled his rehab from a serious foot injury last year.
