Matthew Muller, who was convicted in the kidnapping and assault of Denise Huskins, has been linked to more crimes, prosecutors say.

A man who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a Northern California woman in what became widely known as the “Gone Girl” kidnapping has been charged with two 15-year-old home invasion sexual assaults, prosecutors announced Monday.

Matthew Muller, a convicted rapist in federal prison, is now charged with abducting 2 men and a woman and forcing them to pay their own ransom in 2015.

The new cases include a kidnapping and sexual assault case from 1993, two home invasions in Santa Clara County in 2009 and a 2015 home invasion and attempted kidnap for ransom case in San Ramon that was previously unreported by the victim.
