Hollywood star Halle Berry revealed she had to make a last-minute wardrobe change, opting out of a dramatic outfit designed by Indian couturier Gaurav Gupta.

Halle Berry, a Cannes 2025 jury member, had to forgo her planned Gaurav Gupta gown due to new dress code rules prohibiting overly voluminous outfits with large trains. Berry instead opted for a sleek Jacquemus gown.

"While the gown couldn't be worn due to updated regulations around long trains, we remain proud of the vision we created together. True couture doesn't always need a stage; sometimes, just the intention is enough to ignite the imagination," Mr. Gupta told PTI when reached out for a comment on Ms. Berry skipping to wear his designs.
