Here are five events to celebrate Cinco de Mayo 2025 in El Paso. El Foodie Fest, a celebration of food, culture and entertainment, will be at 5 p.m. Friday, May 2 at 6101 Montana Ave. The annual festival will showcase a variety of food vendors, culinary competitions, craft drinks, a farmers' market and live music.

Cinco de Mayo festivities are taking place across the U.S. with music, tacos and tequila flowing. In the U.S., the date is seen as a celebration of Mexican American culture, stretching back to the 1800s in California.
