PHOENIX — Trailing from the right wing, Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks watched teammate Devin Booker rebound his own miss and turn his direction. Brooks stepped back, caught the pass and buried the biggest shot in Sunday night’s clash with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Suns fans showed their appreciation with a standing ovation towards Dillon Brooks after he was ejected from Sunday's game.

Brooks was active in the previous game against the OKC Thunder when the Suns suffered a humiliating 138-89 loss in the NBA Cup quarterfinal clash. The former Memphis Grizzlies forward endured a horrible shooting night, going 4 of 16 from the floor for 16 points.

Dillon Brooks has established a reputation as a "villainous" player, known for his aggressive style of play. It is something Brooks is not apologizing for, believing that it is where he is most effective as a player and is not going to steer away from it.
