On Tuesday, Brendan Kuty of The Athletic named Chicago Cubs second baseman Nico Hoerner, a 2023 Gold Glover and solid all-around contributor, as a trade candidate for the Yankees to consider. "Would the Yankees be interested in Nico Hoerner of the Cubs? He’s due $23.5 million between this season and next year, however," Kuty wrote.
