Barton has proven his worth during his six seasons in the league, which he spent with three different teams. The past three years, Barton is one of only five NFL linebackers to post more than 100 tackles each season and total five or more interceptions during that span.

On offense, the Broncos brought in tight end Evan Engram and running back J.K. Dobbins during free agency, and they used their second-round pick in the NFL draft to select running back RJ Harvey.
