U.S. Sen. Katie Britt, an Enterprise Republican, has voiced her support for colleague John Fetterman, a Pennsylvania Democrat, in the face of scrutiny of his mental health and criticism of his willingness to part with party, reports AL.com’s Patrick Darrington.

"These disgraceful attacks against him are not the John that I know and respect," Pa.'s GOP Sen. Dave McCormick told Politico.

Democratic Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman’s popularity is underwater among Democratic voters in his state according to an internal poll. The

“Everyone in Pennsylvania will benefit if Fetterman helps extend and expand Trump’s tax cuts,” says the narrator in the ad, which is running statewide on Sunday. “Tell him: Keep fighting for PA. Extend and expand Trump’s tax cuts.”

Other recent polls conducted in the Pittsburgh area show that his base is sticking with him. A recent report has raised concerns about alleged tensions between him and his wife, Gisele, regarding his health regimen, his views on Israel, and her supposed conflicts with his staff.

The survey indicates a potential "freak-out moment" for the Pennsylvania senator who has made Pittsburgh — his home region — core to his brand.
