Lindsey Vonn says she is coming out of retirement to rejoin the U.S. Ski Team in an attempt to race again at age 40.

Lindsey Vonn, who last competed at the Winter Olympics in 2018, returned to training in recent months after an April knee surgery, U.S. Ski and Snowboard said.

2010 Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn is rejoining the U.S. Alpine skiing team for training and could return to competition this season after retiring in 2019.
