The season one finale of X-Men '97 almost introduced iconic mutant heroes Kitty Pryde and Colossus to the team.

At least Colossus is back to being a hero in X-Force. His most recent appearance came as a villain opposing his old friend Logan in Jonathan Hickman and Greg Capullo’s Wolverine: Revenge .

"Shadow of the Colossus is a cult game, but to make a good film, there is a studio that puts the numbers and says how much it is worth to give the director $200m, $150m, or $100m," he said.

A Shadow of the Colossus movie has been in the works for more than a decade already, and despite nothing materializing yet, the project's director has issued a hopeful statement about it.
