Toronto Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews will miss "at least a week" with a lower body injury suffered during his team's 5-3 road loss at the Boston Bruins on Tuesday, per Chris Johnston of The Athletic and TSN Hockey.

Quinton Byfield scored on a one-timer 35 seconds into overtime to give the Los Angeles Kings a 4-3 victory over the injury-hit Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday night. Warren Foegele, Kevin Fiala and Alex Laferriere also scored for Los Angeles.

The Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins meet Tuesday. Puck drop from TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
