LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KFOX14) — Police in Las Cruces made an arrest in connection to the deadly stabbing on Tuesday. The man who died was identified as Lawrence Patrick Rubio. The incident happened on the Seventeenth Street and Picacho Avenue around noon. Officers arrested 31-year-old James Michael Melendrez.
