Southern California Edison, the electrical utility for Los Angeles, has been sued for its alleged role in starting one of the raging Los Angeles fires that have collectively killed at least 24 people and displaced tens of thousands of people from their homes.

Victims of the Eaton Fire are filing lawsuits against Southern California Edison, blaming them for negligence in the lead up to the Eaton Fire in Altadena and Pasadena, that's destroyed thousands of homes and killed at least nine.

Attorneys representing those affected by the Eaton Fire filed a lawsuit against Southern California Edison alleging that the company's equipment sparked the disastrous blaze in Altadena.
