Nancy Pelosi will not attend Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday. Pelosi attended the president-elect’s first inauguration in 2017, but will be a mystery no-show this time around, reported ABC News and The Hill.

Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) will not be attending President-elect Trump’s inauguration Monday, her spokesperson confirmed to The Hill. Pelosi returned to Washington earlier this month for the entrance of the new class of lawmakers after undergoing hip replacement surgery in Germany following a fall in Luxembourg in December.

First lady Jill Biden on Wednesday said she was disappointed in former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., over the role Pelosi played in the president dropping out of the 2024 race.
