The CFP first round game between Ole Miss and Tulane is a rematch of a Sept. 22 game which the Rebels won convincingly.
No. 11-seeded Tulane will travel to face the No. 6 seed Ole Miss at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi, and the game will be broadcast on TNT and HBO Max. It will be a rematch from the regular season that resulted in a 45-10 Ole Miss win.
Tulane promoted head coach days before their CFP rematch with Pete Golding's Ole Miss. The Green Wave are betting on continuity.
Ole Miss football (11-0) will host Tulane (11-2) on Dec. 20 (2:30 p.m., TNT & HBO Max). It will be played in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. It's the first CFP game in Ole Miss history and the first to be played in Mississippi.
The Georgia Bulldogs are set to play in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1 in the quarterfinal round of the college football playoffs. Who they will play has not yet been determined yet as they will play the winner of Ole Miss vs Tulane.
