The District Child Protection Unit in Ahmedabad has issued a notice to singer Chris Martin and the organisers of the Coldplay concert, instructing them not to use children in any form on stage

The action followed a petition filed on January 2 by Prof Punditrao Dharenavar, an assistant professor of Sociology at Government College, Sector 46 Chandigarh.

Coldplay will perform in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26 at Narendra Modi Stadium as part of their Music of the Spheres tour.

Days before Coldplay's much-anticipated concert in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, a notice was issued to the band's lead singer, Chris Martin, and the event organizers. The directive emphasized avoiding the inclusion of children in any capacity on stage.

"It's a miracle. Rather than texting someone angrily or you know being aggressive at work, it sort of gets out," shared Chris Martin

The notice clearly states that failure to comply with these guidelines will result in stringent action from the District Child Protection Unit.
