Bologna eased into the Coppa Italia final following a 2–1 victory over Empoli at home on Thursday, which handed them a resounding 5–1 aggregate win as they set up a showdown with AC Milan.

Bologna advanced past Empoli to reach its first Italian Cup final in more than half a century. Thijs Dallinga’s 87th-minute header earned Bologna a 2-1 win and the team advanced 5-1 on aggregate.

Bologna will face Milan in their first Coppa Italia Final for 51 years, as today’s 2-1 victory over Empoli consolidated a 5-1 aggregate triumph in the semi-final.
