The New England Patriots have found their next defensive coordinator, and the choice is not necessarily a surprising one. Terrell Williams, who spent six years with Mike Vrabel in Tennessee, will reunite with his former head coach in Foxboro.

The Patriots announced that McDaniels has been hired as the offensive coordinator on new head coach Mike Vrabel's staff on Wednesday. It is the third time that McDaniel has served in the role as he had two stints working for Bill Belichick and was part of six Super Bowl winners in New England.

Mike Vrabel has turned to a former lieutenant to be the Patriots defensive coordinator. According to ESPN, the Patriots are hiring Detroit Lions defensive line coach/run game coordinator Terrell Williams to be their next defensive coordinator.
