Group play in the 2025 NBA Cup resumes Friday night in New York, as the Miami Heat visit the New York Knicks in a matchup of Eastern Conference playoff contenders.

In the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, two teams of U.S. players and one team of international players (known as the World team) will compete in a round-robin tournament featuring four 12-minute games. The three teams will each have a minimum of eight players.

Just in time for the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, the NBA is bringing a little international flavor to All-Star Weekend 2026.

Fans will still vote for the All-Star Game starters, but it will be positionless, and the players will land in an exciting new format.
