Five Pacific Division teams realistically have a chance to make the postseason. The Vegas Golden Knights, Edmonton Oilers, and Los Angeles Kings are battling for the top spot in the Pacific Division,

But while the season has been painful, with the Sharks now riding a four-game losing skid and coming off multiple losses where they blew a lead, the team is still slowly heading in the right direction.

There are five teams with a real shot to make the post-season in the Pacific Division. As it stands, the Vegas Golden Knights maintain their hold of the Pacific Division thanks to a 29-14-4 record with 62 points but the Edmonton Oilers aren’t far behind with their 29-15-3 record with 61 points.

At one point this season, the New Jersey Devils looked as if they might be the best team in the NHL. That has not been the case lately, as the Devils' offense flails and they slide further down the NHL Power Rankings.
