Detroit star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown recruits Darius Slay back to the Lions for his final NFL season in 2025

Darius Slay still has love for his former team and the city of Detroit, but he took issue with recent remarks from Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.

On the latest "Big Play Slay" podcast, the talented defensive back responded to Detroit Lions wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown saying Dan Campbell's squad would win against Philadelphia with a healthy team, and others saying their team is as good as Nick Sirianni's squad.

Darius Slay remains a very popular player in Detroit even though the Pro Bowl cornerback has been with the Philadelphia Eagles for the last five seasons. Slay sends the love right back to Lions fans, and he made sure everyone knows the door is open for a potential return.

And if that were the case, he seems open to one home, in particular.

Darius Slay spent years with the Detroit Lions before coming to Philadelphia. He was there during some tough years. From 2013 to 2019, Slay was one of the best players on the Lions but did not see much postseason success.

Eagles cornerback Darius Slay says he wants to play one more season. Whether that will be in Philadelphia remains to be seen, but the veteran is also open to a return to Detroit.
