The Patriots will have a kicker competition this offseason. The team plans on bringing in another player either in the draft or via free agency. Here's more:

On July 28, New England announced Barmore had been diagnosed with blood clots. The former Alabama standout did not practice again with his teammates until Nov. 14, and Barmore played 21 defensive snaps in the Patriots’ 28-22 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 17 in his 2024 debut.

Granted, New England did sign both Mack Hollins and Stefon Diggs. Drake Maye will have a better wide receiver room than he had last year. But, there is one free agent left on the market the Patriots should consider bringing in for him.

There is still a long way to go before the 2025 NFL season, but the New England Patriots will start hitting the practice field next week
