Configuring your voicemail settings is a pretty simple task on an Android phone, and there are a few ways to do it.

Here, we give instructions on how to set up visual voicemail with Verizon as an example. For most Android devices, Verizon's Visual Voicemail app should be preinstalled.

Voicemail has been due a big update, and Google's Call Message is certainly that. It's functionally quite similar to Live Voicemail, which has been a part of iOS since iOS 17.

This update is part of WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.25.23.21, and is currently available to select beta testers.
