Learn how to archive emails, find archived emails & retrieve archived emails in Gmail. This can remove emails from your inbox without deleting them.

Open the Gmail app on your smartphone. Long-press the email you wish to archive. You can select multiple emails if you want. Tap the archive button from the top menu, as shown in the picture below.
