Fort Worth police arrest 28-year-old woman after Sunday morning crash
Alana Lee Parker, 28, was arrested and charged with intoxication assault after a two-vehicle crash in Southeast Fort Worth early Sunday morning.
According to FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth, police identified the suspect as Alana Lee Parker and say she was booked into the Fort Worth Police Department Detention Facility at 5:39 a.m. The station reports that Parker faces a third-degree felony charge of intoxication assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury as traffic units continue their investigation.
An 18-year-old was arrested and charged with intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle, according to jail records.
Travel conditions across Fort Worth and North Texas are not considered safe for driving on Sunday, as ice continues to build on most roads and temperatures stay well below freezing.
