Avatar: The Last Airbender has returned in a bold new live-action form on Netflix. The show is based on the beloved Nickelodeon cartoon. Season 1 premiered on February 22, 2024.

James Cameron was joined by the stars of the film Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, and Sigourney Weaver who all walked the carpet.

Pulling things out to an over-the-shoulder perspective, the new third-person option in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora mixes things up quite a bit. The bulk of the game remains the same, of course, but this is a welcome new way to play, and we think exploring Avatar's world in this way will prove a nice treat for fans.
