Most of the arena's 18,000 fans donned captain's hats on Tuesday night for the return of arguably the most beloved Warrior of all time besides Stephen Curry-- four-time champion and five-time All-Star Klay Thompson.

Klay Thompson exited the team bus then beamed as he strolled back into Chase Center, greeted by some 400 cheering Warriors employees showing their love and appreciation for the former Golden State star and lined up lined up along his path to the Dallas locker room.

In the lead-up to Klay Thompson's return to the Bay Area, the former Golden State Warrior was radiating indifference. He insisted the only thing notable about Tuesday's match-up between the Warriors and Thompson's Dallas Mavericks was that it was an NBA Cup game,

Green was suspended for "forcibly grabbing... Rudy Gobert around the neck in an unsportsmanlike and dangerous manner."

The Golden State Warriors seem to have a Draymond Green problem, in addition to their other issues, as they are in the midst of a concerning slump. Entering Saturday’s matchup with the Thunder, the Warriors had lost five consecutive games.

Warriors forward Draymond Green has been suspended for five games for his role in an altercations during Tuesday’s game vs. the Timberwolves, the NBA announced in a press release.
