The Toronto Blue Jays made a quick switch in their lineup just minutes before they were set to take on the Boston Red Sox.

Toronto Blue Jays superstar first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. left the game after being hit by a pitch on Thursday.

In the fourth, Blue Jays starter Kevin Gausman hit Jose Ramirez in the forearm with a pitch. Ramirez, like Guerrero, stayed in the game to run but was later taken out. Nolan Jones has entered in his place in the lineup, with Lane Thomas moving to center, Angel Martinez moving to second base and Daniel Schneemann shifting to third.
