Taron Egerton has spoken about the "disturbing" true story behind his new Apple TV+ series Smoke. The Tetris and Carry-On actor leads the new nine-part crime series, as a fireman-turned-investigator trying to stop two serial arsonists operating in the Pacific Northwest.

Taron Egerton's Dave is writing a fictional novel in Smoke, with the events that unfold being a genius reflection of another character's crimes.
