A 23-year-old man was arrested Thursday in connection with a mass shooting earlier this month at Boom Island Park in Minneapolis that left a woman dead and five men wounded. According to a late Thursday release,

Investigators say the shooting happened while vehicles were driving through the park, though the exact circumstances and how many people were involved are unknown.

MINNEAPOLIS – The 11-year-old boy shot and killed Monday in north Minneapolis is identified as Amir Atkins. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office says Atkins died of a gunshot wound to the head.
