Former Georgia Bulldogs linebacker Lorenzo Carter, who is 29 years old, is retiring from the NFL after seven seasons. Carter, a third-round pick in the 2018 NFL draft, spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the New York Giants from 2018-2021. Carter played with his hometown Atlanta Falcons from 2022-2024.
Former New York Giants pass rusher Lorenzo Carter decided to call it a career on Tuesday, just months after landing with the Tennessee Titans in free agency.
Carter,29, was a third-round draft pick of the Giants in 2018 out of Georgia, taken with the 66th overall pick. He played four seasons in New York before signing with the Atlanta Falcons during his free agency in 2022. He spent three years there and signed with the Titans in March of this year.
