Lewis Hamilton‘s debut year with Ferrari in the 2025 season has been underwhelming. The Briton has been outscored by his teammate Charles Leclerc since the beginning of the year. Hamilton is unable to regain his dominant form and score impressive results with the Italian constructor.

While Lewis Hamilton is not retiring, he and Ferrari did perhaps “underestimate” the challenge of his adaptation. That is the concession made by Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur, with Hamilton having hit a new mental low at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
