Tallon Griekspoor saved four match points before beating top-seeded Daniil Medvedev 2-6, 7-6 (7), 7-5 to reach the semifinals at the Dubai Championships on Thursday.

Griekspoor came from behind to triumph 2-6 7-6 (9-7) 7-5 over the Russian at the Dubai Tennis Championships on Thursday. Medvedev had four match points across Griekspoor's final two service games of the second set, yet each one was clawed back.
