It's been three days since the terror attack outside the old Boulder County Courthouse in Colorado, and things on Pearl Street Mall are starting to feel somewhat normal again. Business owners and regulars still feel a sense of unease,
Mohamed Sabry Soliman, an Egyptian man in the US illegally, charged with hate crime for Boulder attack using Molotov cocktails at a pro-Israel event, injuring eight.
Soliman – who shouted “Free Palestine” after the attack – stood behind a transparent partition in court Thursday as the charges were announced.
Gov. Jared Polis along with other political and faith leaders held a vigil in Boulder Wednesday morning at the site of Sunday's attack on the Pearl Street Mall in which a suspect hurled Molotov cocktails at a march for Israeli hostages.
Efforts by U.S. lawmakers from Colorado to condemn the violence also highlight growing politicization around the suspect’s immigration status.
