You can 3D print a controller mod that lets you game with one hand for only a few dollars.
YouTuber Akaki Kuumeri’s 3D-printed mods let you use a modern PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo controller with just one hand in a potential boon for accessibility.
Inspired by the one-handed custom Xbox controllers built by Ben Heck, Kuumeri entered a design contest held by The Controller Project in late 2021 to create 3D-printed snap-on accessibility mods.
Granted you still need a 3D printer (or a generous friend with one) but if you already have that then this Xbox One controller conversion won't cost you more than $10.
